R. Shantilal Shopping Hub is committed to respecting your rights under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP). This page explains how we comply with the law and how you can exercise your rights as a data principal.

Scope and Applicability

The DPDP applies to the processing of digital personal data of individuals in India. While R. Shantilal Shopping Hub does not require users to register or create accounts, we may collect limited personal data through automated means such as website analytics, cookies, and server logs to improve user experience and site functionality. This data is not linked to any name, phone number, email, or other direct identifier unless voluntarily provided through a contact form.

Under Section 8 of the DPDP, we rely on legitimate interest as the legal basis for processing. Our interest is to ensure website functionality, improve user experience, and analyze traffic patterns to enhance our services. We do not process sensitive personal data or data of children.

How to Exercise Your Rights

To exercise your rights under the DPDP, please send a request to our Data Protection Officer via email at [email protected]. Include:

  1. Your full name
  2. Any email address or identifier associated with your interaction with our website
  3. A clear description of the right you wish to exercise (access, correction, deletion)

We will respond to your request within 30 days.

Response Timeframes

We are required under the DPDP to respond to requests within 30 days. In exceptional cases, we may extend this period by an additional 15 days and will notify you of the delay with reasons.

No Discrimination Policy

We do not and will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights under the DPDP. You will not be denied services, charged different prices, or receive a lower quality of service because you have made a request under this law.

Updates and Changes

We may update this DPDP Compliance page from time to time to reflect changes in the law or our practices. Any material changes will be posted here with a revised effective date. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
